Certified Pre-Owned Warranty Coverage Begins the Day You Purchase Your Car

The Kelley Blue Book® Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle powertrain limited warranty covers the powertrain of the vehicle, which is made up of the engine, transmission and drivetrain. The powertrain limited warranty also includes seals and gaskets. Diagnostics fees will be covered when a mechanical breakdown that is covered under the warranty is found.

Coverage varies, based on vehicle age and mileage at time of purchase. Kelley Blue Book Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles with less than 80,000 miles AND less than 5 years old (from the Original In-Service Date* or registration date) are covered with a 48 month, 125,000 mile powertrain limited warranty, and a 3 month, 3,000 mile exclusionary warranty. Certified vehicles with less than 110,000 miles AND less than 10 years old (from the Original In-Service Date or registration date, whichever comes first) are covered with a 24 month, 125,000 mile powertrain limited warranty, and a 3 month, 3,000 mile exclusionary warranty. Each warranty includes roadside assistance and towing.

* “Original In-Service Date” means the date the Manufacturer’s Warranty for the vehicle began (as determined by the manufacturer’s records) or the original record of sale/original DMV registration date (as noted on the vehicle history report, e.g.: AutoCheck or Carfax)
